How to make videos clearer for youtube?
Q. I use Windows Movie Maker but the video files I work with are.avi so I have to convert them to .wmv to be able to edit it. Is there any way I can make my videos come out clearer? My .avi file is high quality but since I convert it to .wmv and by the time it's uploaded to youtube, it's blurry. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

A. You can use Avidemux to splice together .avi videos, but only with basic editing functions, without messing with the video quality. It works on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux... but I think you'll be using Windows.

I want to download a free video making program that will allow me to upload video clips from the Internet.?
Q. I want to be able to take a clip of a video that I've found online, put it into a program that will let me edit and make changes to it, and then be able to post it online. I've seen people do this and post it on youtube. I don't know if it is possible to do this with a free program.

A. Hi - There are numerous free editing tools for video.

1) Wax
A free tool with powerful editing and compositing abilities.

2) Video Spin
Video Spin is the free video editing tool from Avid.

3) T@B ZS4
T2B ZS4 is a free video editing and compositing tool from Zwei-Stein. Its not for everyone, but it could be for you.

4) Vivia
Vivia is a basic editing software which is currently being developed and is in Beta testing. If you are using Linux or Windows you might want to check this out

5) Jahshaka
Jahshaka is a free multi-use offline editing tool. Although it is still fairly new on the market.

6) Avidemux
One of the more stable and complete free tools available.

7) Blender
Blender is a powerful, multi-use editing/compositing and modeling tool. It's one of the best on the market and it's free.

8) Movica
A tool to deal with MPG and flash video. It's simple, it's powerful and it's free!

I would suggest for downloading from Youtube you should look at DVD Videosoft.

Yahoo! Answers community guidelines prohibit me from posting the link to my web site which has a complete list of these tools. A quick look at my profile will yield that information, though.

Thanks... Freevideoman
