Now I'm asking you about mobile OS'. Is there a phone you can install on it android, and then are able to switch to windows phone (or reverse), without to buy a new phone which supports the OS you want to switch to. I heard some HTC phones can do that.

A. No, phones are specifically made for a specific operating system. For example, Samsung Galaxy S III runs Android Jellybean. You cannot port Windows phone OS onto that device. VERY old smartphones are able to do that. The iPhone 3G was able to run Android on it when a hacker ported it.
What is your preferite linux distribution?
Q. I know only Puppy Linux.
It doesn't need any driver for my graphic, sound and network card, whereas xp needs all the drivers.
However Puppy Linux isn't as advanced as xp!..

A. I have only tried Ubuntu, but have used openSUSE running KDE in the university library. I'd have to say Ubuntu is a good choice for beginners. openSUSE is not that bad. It's got a lot of eyecandies.
I have downloaded five other distributions to try next month when I've got my laptop (openSUSE, Mandriva, Fedora, Debian and Linux Mint). I'll tell you my Linux stories later. :)

A. When you're using Linux, you should almost never install anything by downloading it yourself. Because there are so many slightly different Linux distributions and almost all the software is free anyway, each distribution maintains a repository of all the software you need. For Fedora, you access this repository by using YUM. Just open the command line and do "sudo yum install mysql" I believe that openjdk 1.6 is included by default on Fedora so you don't need to install anything.
